Stranger Things × Converse Weapon

Bringing the Converse Weapon back to life became one of the most meaningful projects of my career. As we prepared the franchise relaunch, I saw an opportunity to reintroduce this 80s icon through one of today’s most influential cultural platforms — Stranger Things.

I initiated a partnership with Netflix, pitching the Weapon as a natural fit for the show’s final season. After sharing early samples and custom colorways, the team selected the model to outfit a new character appearing throughout every episode.

What began as a proactive idea evolved into a three-year collaboration, culminating in the Weapon being featured on one of the biggest shows in the world. Seeing it on-screen — and embraced by fans — became a career highlight and a powerful reminder of the impact of intuition, storytelling, and believing in your vision.
